Give yourself this stillness,
though it may be visited by fear
and strange beckonings.

Wait in the darkness,
before the first bird sings,
so that a fullness can find you.

You may have grief
to warm beneath the covers,
worry that needs to be rubbed away.

Rest.
Wait.
Receive.

Sleep is not being taken,
something new is being given.

The enchantment of light
will find you
soon enough.
