in the center in your belly,
the place where cats come to settle for the day,

Children dream here,
feet twitching as they jump off embankments into cooling jade water that blesses them,

then releases them for that first delicious breath,
hurled back into the light.
The world tumbles and shudders around you,
yet you choose stillness,
to rest in this place,
just for now
The many battles that always promise treasures
will not disappear,
they rage on,
while you drift in silence.
From here you can feel the endless reach of the Ocean,
watching it within and without at the same time,
finding peace in the way its effortless body humbles the Earth with grace.
